Each child is to be treated as a separate entity and he/she will undergo a thought provoking process to mend and change him as a best citizen in his future so as to live a social life along with other fellow people. In this way only our school was started.

Overview

Sriram Vidhya Mandir Mat. Hr. Sec. School was established in June 2002 at Sriram Engineering College Campus, Perumalpattu by the renowned Sriram Educational Trust under the Chairmanship of Mr. M.E. Devarajan Naidu. The main aim of starting the school is to provide quality education to the children of rural areas in and around Perumalpattu. Our school motto is Learn, Serve, Lead. Classes upto IX were started in the first year. From 2003 onwards X, XI and XII classes were started and now school is functioning from LKG to XII std.

History

The banyan of Sri Ram Educational Trust spread its branches and accordingly Sri Ram Vidhya Mandir Mat. Hr. Sec. School is functioning in full pledged with 871 students. It caters to the educational demands of the rural folk around Veppampattu.

As our school is located in a rural area, we aim that our students should be well trained on par with city schools. We value relationships and connections with the Community, and we at Sriram encourage our students to develop respectful relationships with their parents, teachers and community. We try to imbibe the spirit of patriotism among our students. We believe in the holistic development of child and hence we have Varieties of Extra Curricular Activities throughout the week. We also encourage sports activities at all level and they compete with inter school activities and bring laurels to our school. We also have well equipped Science Labs.

We are performing well and aim to give the best to the first generation of educated class at Perumalpattu, with the generous support and motivation of Sri Ram Educational Trust.
